This is the most authentic, widely recited, and universally accepted version of Durood Sharif. It is an obligatory component of the daily five prayers ( Salah ) during the final sitting position ( Tashahhud ).

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ . اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ

For daily Dhikr, when a believer wants to repeat the blessings quickly throughout the day, the shortest formulation is highly effective: Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam
